Chronology Arts was established in 2007 by composers Andrew Batt-Rawden and Alex Pozniak to provide emerging artists (particularly art-music composers) with professional opportunities including commissions, performances, recordings and broadcasts.

From 2016, the organisation produced queer contemporary performance work, facilitated Dean Walsh’s “Weird Nest” project for artists living with disability, and provided research and development opportunities for multi-artform projects that had high degrees of engagement with sound art.

After multiple project and methodological developments, Chronology Arts relaunched as a producing organisation on 30 & 31 October 2024.
