CONTEXT
Chronology Arts was established in 2007 by composers Andrew Batt-Rawden and Alex Pozniak to provide emerging artists (particularly art-music composers) with professional opportunities including commissions, performances, recordings and broadcasts.
From 2016, the organisation produced queer contemporary performance work (Theare, Nurosynk, Dean Walsh), facilitated “Weird Nest”; a project for artists living with disability, and provided research and development opportunities for multi-artform projects.
Since 2021, the organisation delved into methodological research and development projects and in 2025 Chronology Arts has relaunched as a producing organisation.
