Intention

The intention of creating a circulation of information is to give our artists a platform to share their thoughts and visual works. When Chronology Arts can afford to, it’ll pay artists for articles, images, artworks for circulation (and probably a better print job than “home printer A4 80gsm double sided folded to DL”), but I really wanted to start the publishing habit/cycle now, so I’m drafting and writing the whole edition in the hopes that others in the collective become inspired to write something themselves for the next.

This edition is coming out a bit late for Q1 2025, but the idea will be to start each quarter with a “Zine” (of some description) mailout. We’ll probably end up duplicating all this digitally at some stage, but for now, our founding 12 “snail mail” subscribers will be receiving these zines at no cost. We believe in our artistic practices, and as a publisher, I believe in the importance of giving opportunities for connections between those whose value artistic discourse and developing creativity.
