Embarking on a new journey, finding new friends, exploring new places fulfills a desire of exploration, discovery and connection. It can be about departures from something that needs to shift, as well as arrivals to something that inspires us. We must go on these new adventures (eventually at least) because existing in time necessarily results in change. We navigate time with ever-maturing minds and aging bodies in rapidly changing and intersecting natural and man-made environments. These environments are multidimensional; they include organic beings, physical structures, energies, waveforms, concepts, cultures and spiritualities. These shifts can happen over longer periods such as over a lifetime, or in relatively short periods of time, like during a 5 minute scene of a 1 hour performance.
